Thanks Stazma for the inspiration and for the record label you run. I’ve seen you live on numerous occasions (Bangface, Barcelona too). For years I’ve been mixing on the turntables and I saw that I was falling short, so this year I decided to get a tracker and make my own noises. Both you and enduser (and many other people within the genre) are references for me. Thanks for the quality of the content you post and for how educational it is.

Nice to read this many thanks sir.
Fun fact I sent my Tracker V1 a few weeks ago to Lynn aka Enduser so he could try it out and see if the workflow fit his mindset before he decide to buy one or not hehehe.

I’ve noticed that the more expensive the musical equipment musicians have, the more primitive the sounds they create with it, mainly just boop, plick, pluck, gzshhhh. :joy:

Well I like modular because it makes me do this kind of sounds I’m bored to get on a computer. I guess I like primitive bleeps & bloops tho hahaha.

There’s nothing more boring than creating music on a computer, even if it has 1000 cool VSTs and a million samples. I believe the greatest and most amazing magic happens when you interact with sound in the real world through analog generators. An infinite number of ideas for chains and routes. Yes, it’s challenging to create full tracks this way, but you get immense satisfaction from realizing your idea by combining different instruments and achieving that long-awaited “blop” sound. :joy: It works :raised_hands:

It get worst the more VSTs and samples you have hahaha.
Are the same CJCLIP thaht made that killer breakcore track with a crazy video by the way?

Yes :see_no_evil::joy:

Thats explains a lot. :rofl::heart:

Nice video by the way.

Cool to “meet” you here. I love that track :wink:

Back on the bleep blop subject tho, I don’t spend hours editing the audio of these gear demo, these are indeed demos, not full proper tracks.
Here is an exemple of a track that really started on the Tracker + Buchla / Tiptop system together and got pushed to much further into what I would call a track. just leaving this for reference :wink:

PS: I remembered that I made a post about this showing the recording of the main sequence that started the track
