What is the problem?
Especially for filters, it can be very very helpful to have value smoothing between steps. For more organic music with long evolving filter movement especially.
This is a suggestion that Red Means Recording cited, and i agree. I often use slow-moving and smooth movement for filters and other parameters, in my work.
What should this feature achieve?
Smoothing would make Mess more useful to people who aren’t making techno/house etc. which, for a guitar-pedal format, is a considerable amount of potential buyers. Without smoothing, Mess is less expressive, and takes a stand on sounding like precise electronic music. Many people, including multi instrumentalists, would appreciate having this feature.
