Show the MIDI Note number in the display (e.g. C2 36)

Show the MIDI Note number in the display (e.g. C2 36).

What is the problem?

Drum machines with custom mapping settings or manuals of drum machines describing which incoming MIDI note corresponds to which instrument generally don’t go by note pitches but by MIDI note numbers (e.g. 36 is the kick). Only seeing the note pitch in the Play’s display (e.g. C2) makes it hard to find the corresponding numbers.

What do you want to achieve?

Have the MIDI Note number shown alongside the pitch in the display (e.g. C2 36)

Are there any workarounds?

No.

Any links to related discussions?

No.

Any references to other products?

Most drum machines with mappable MIDI note numbers (e.g. Behringer RD-8) or any manual of a drum machine that can be controlled externally via MIDI.

And maybe aditionally, show if that note is in selected scale (when scale filter is off) apart from led indicator on “keyboard” (you have to switch the view to see it)
