What is the problem?
When a synth voice is killed, there’s an audible click, no matter which engine I use. Usually the lower I go, the more obvious it is.
I don’t know how complicated this would be to improve, but I would pay extra for it. The easiest way to reproduce this is to limit a synth to one voice, add some release time on amp envelope and start tapping on a pad.
I realize that this gets more complicated when you play 2-8 voices at once and try to play 2-8 more voices before the first set of voices ends, but I would still love to hear from the Polyend team if this is even feasible.
Maybe add it as an experiment in the next alpha/beta, offer it as an option in the settings that can be turned on/off, show a notice next to it if it will decrease the overall polyphony, etc.
