I’m on the 2.2.1 firmware (Tracker Mini) and the note entry mode won’t allow me to select a note lower than C3. I’ve rolled back to 2.2.0 and 2.1.0.1400b and I have the same problem. Is anyone else having similar issues or know of a workaround that doesn’t involve a midi controller? (specifically for beat slice, I know I can enter slices manually but using the 8 buttons is more intuitive sometimes.)
If I understand your question correctly the lowest note in the window is C3 but when you change the root note (config setting) to a lower note, also lower notes become available in note grid window. But you’ll loose higher notes as the window only gives you a fixed amount of selectable notes.
