Thing is fucking NUTS!

Sure, there’s bugs. Sure, there’s limitations. And sure, I spent the first couple of weeks forensically stepping through the manual to try out one feature after another so I could get a feel for the machine. Then I slowly realised I was getting myself into a slight funk as I was getting mildly irritated by a few features mainly because “I would’ve done it differently..”. And I was mildly annoyed that X was missing and Y was missing. Then I just accepted it as it is, gave into the flow of it and it’s the first bit of hardware, for a long time, that has put a grin on my face and just begs to be experimented with. The speed at which you can work is phenomenal. There’s a few speed bumps for me but I think that’s more expectation and (other gear) muscle memory. Wild, absolutely wild.

@ Polyend Team: bravo sirs, bravo.

(Now fix the bugs and make it my dream machine!)

Not quite the plus, but I do have the mini and it is my favorite❤️ I’ve never had one device that could inspire as much immediate creative flows. Especially with sound design. I love being able to mix the sounds of my life with all my favorite synths and samples. It’s the first device that I’ve felt that “extention of myself” feeling since learning guitar when I was a kid. This thing is epic.

And as for the bugs, your exactly right. Hell, I just put in a bug report for the circuit tracks the other day and found out it’s been a known bug for 2 years🤷‍♂️ it’s the nature of the beast to some extent. Even for the big cats. I also grew up playing skyrim, and we used to think some of those bugs were hilarious. As long as it doesnt break the game, I can’t complain😊 the polyend team are hands down some of the best people to interact with on the forum, which I can not say the same about a few others I’ve been on. Both big and “small”. They take criticism well and make genuine attempts to be as transparent as possible. I really dig the tracker workflow and the community they’ve built around it. Awesomeness all around.

Polyend developers truly have incredibly cool UI/UX expertise. Many manufacturers should learn from them.
