Scroll the Play's Grid Notes view one row at a time

For the Play’s Grid Notes view it would be good to let users scroll up or down one row at a time, rather than one page at a time, so that people could better customize the range of notes that are available to play.

What is the problem?

Currently in Grid Notes view you can only scroll one page at a time, so if you want to play notes that are just one or two rows above the current page you have to scroll back and forth.

What do you want to achieve?

Scrolling notes in the Grid View by row rather than by page would let users access a more varied range of notes, without having to scroll back and forth by page.

Are there any workarounds?

No.

Any links to related discussions?

No.

Any references to other products?

No.

One way of doing this could be:

instead of having for buttons each for a page of the scale it could be by having the first two buttons would be minus and plus one row to move. And the other two could be minus and plus 8 rows or something like that.

This way you can have the best of both worlds.

The Piano Roll allows you to use the Screen button to change the starting note. Perhaps something similar could be used in the Piano/Grid View to allow someone to set the “starting” row.
