/samples Folder disappears in project after saving

Bug Description

Brand new tracker mini with pre-installed version 2.0.
Directory:
“/projects/artists/ …artists demo projects …/“
In every project there’s an /instrument
/patterns /samples subdirectory.
Out of the box the /instrument folders are empty. The /samples folders are filled with the wav-samples.
After opening a demo project of one of the artists, just listening to it and then saving it, without any modifications,
The /instruments folder is now filled with the *.pti files (containing the instrument data + sample data).
However the /samples folder has now completely disappeared, with all the raw wav-files.

This is a big problem when creating a new project. Loading a long sample into the /samples folder of the new project. Then import a little piece of sample data from the long sample , adjust the instrument parameters, save the project,… Then a *. pti file is created into the/instruments folder and the /samples folder containing the long sample is gone. Sample import isn’t possible anymore after this point.

Reproduction Steps

As described in bug description.

Occurrence

Always

Hi @johanheirbaut This behavior is by design. The Artist demo projects are an older type. They are converted when saved to the new standard with stereo and .pti instruments without the “Samples” folder.

Correct, but you still loose the long sample complete when it is converted to the new pti file containing, for instance, a small piece of the that long sample.
