What is the problem?
One of the most interesting things with the Tracker is using Granular Playback with a sample and using a Saw LFO to move the Position perfectly in sync with a desired length (ie: one bar). However, this setup requires that the Position in Sample Playback be set exactly mid-way through the sample. This can be difficult to do - namely if the sample lacks obvious transient material as a reference.
What should this feature achieve?
Set the Position value to the exact middle of a Sample in the Sample Playback.
Are there any workarounds?
You can use the Slice Playback and, if you have no Slices on the Sample, Add two Slices. The first will be placed at the start of the Sample, the second at the middle. One could note the value under ‘Adjust’, switch back to Granular and move the Position to match.
