Sample Loader - Colour code Instruments using Note, Instrument, Fx1, Fx2 keys

In the sample loader page, I would like to use the colours from the Note, Instrument, Fx1, Fx2 keys to highlight individual loaded instruments.

• pressing the a coloured key changes the selected instrument to that key’s colour
• pressing a different key changes the selected instrument to that key’s colour
• pressing the same coloured key makes the instrument default colour again.

What is the problem?

Its hard to distinguish text and what certain instruments

What do you want to achieve?

use colours to help organise instruments

Are there any workarounds?

Good naming convention
Creating spaces around the instruments I would like to manipulate live so they are easily distinguishable.
Blocking values > 0 - 10 is drums, 11-20 is synths, 21-30 is pads, 31-40 is FX sounds.

this is a 3 part-er with

its kinda a combo 3 (didn’t add the 3rd from github yet, ill do this now), the idea is to use the coloured keys to colour code your projects, which in my mind would be a big ask as you would need to create a hex reference with every text or block related.

[image] What is the problem? Being able to mark tracks in song mode to highlight sections in the song. especially if you are using all 8 tracks. What do you want to achieve? While “rec” in song mode. Selecting a single or group of blocks and pressing one of the 4 coloured keys to change the block to that colour, if you press the same colour again it goes back to white. Are there any workarounds? not use all tracks to make references, but i like all tracks. and I want to make unexpected pixel…
