This has been on my mind as well. The one thing that I think the Play and Play+ is really missing for that ultra-IDM sound is accelerating/decelerating repeats–for example, like the infamouns Bucephalus Bouncing Ball by Aphex Twin (link for simplicity). The only instrument I’m aware that already contains this is Izotope Break Tweaker.
On that note, it might be useful to have a checklist of some sort to enable/disable the repeats that are activated by Chance (and maybe this could apply to other things activated by Chance as well) just because some of the options might not be rhythmically compatible with the song you’re working on. I think a good place for that would be in its own folder directly in the Menu.
Just something to think about! It’s been on my mind for a while, and I didn’t think it quite justified its own wish
