Removing the back cover

Hello everyone.

I’m trying to remove the back cover of a used Tracker OG; I’ve taken out all 12 screws from the bottom chassis, but the cover won’t budge. I tried inserting a scraper into the slight gap, but I met resistance and felt it would be risky to apply any more force. Is there a trick to it, or is there a hidden screw somewhere?
The back cover appears to be plastic with a rubberized coating on the surface, and it shows signs of scratches and stickiness. This could be a specification found on the relatively newer OG models.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey there again :hugs:

There is a hidden screw(s) underneath the label. I think there is two of them.
If you push down on the label you might see / feel them.

:warning: Make sure to take a picture of your label first though, so you have your serial number stored somewhere, because it might get ruined / becomes unreadable.

Thank you again. There were two screws behind the serial number sticker. I was able to remove them successfully :smiley:

Replacing the potentiometer? I had to do that on my first one, which was used. The guy before me stripped out the set screw on the knob, which is probably why he sold it. I had to drill out the set screw then re tap it and use a slightly bigger set screw. Worked amazing with the new pot though. Either way, good luck!
