Record Synth live on Play via MIDI

Hi,

I have recently bought the Synth to pair up with my Polyend Play (non +). I would like to record live the input from the play but not sure how to do it or even if possible.

I set up on Synth:
Clock In (via Jack)
Transport In (via Jack)

and on Play
Clock out, Transport Out
Notes In

The devices are connected via a Midi quadra thru.

Using the Play as sequencer works flawlessly but I can’t record live.
Any advice?

Any luck recording? Have you tried using a 3.5mm stereo cable direct from Synth to play?
Make sure you select the track you want to record on for Play and the seqeuncer is running. For Synth be sure to set the Synth MIDI i/o to one of the jack options - Play can record to only 1 MIDI destination at a time.

Hi Mitch I did actually. I connected a Launch Key to the Play via MIDI B and now I can control and record live the instruments
