As there currently is no way to loop the audio file while editing in the audio editor, this may be a better option.
What is the problem?
When working with looped playback waveforms, most of the time playback audio and audio editor waveform isnt the same, as user needs testing before deciding which part to use and keep, after applying envelopes to the sound.
What should this feature achieve?
It should improve the user workflow when creating sample based synths, and also leave free space for more samples as no extra info is kept.
Are there any workarounds?
Not really, as cropping the file from the audio editor may not match 100% the sample playback loop length, and that may change the sound of the instrument.
