What is the problem?
While using the Tracker+ in song mode, building complex patterns by copying different clips across tracks can be slow and a bit cumbersome, especially during the prototyping stage. This limits the fluidity of experimenting with variations, in contrast to the more dynamic feel of performance mode.
What should this feature achieve?
Allow users to quickly switch the pattern assigned to a track in song mode by holding Shift and using the arrow keys or jog wheel—just like we can explore track patterns in performance mode. This would make the composition workflow faster, more intuitive, and closer to a live experimentation feel.
Are there any workarounds?
Currently, I copy and paste different clips manually in song mode. It works, but it’s slow and not ideal for quick iteration or creative flow.
