Possibility to select and remember different tracks and variations in patterns view

@alter while I was writing this, I thought of another possible solution (that could work great along with this wish too):

Differentiated "press and hold" and "press" functions for the patterns button to make it work better with variations

What is the problem? Variations overlap the patterns view, so, for example, with all the variations activated it cannot be accessed. Enabled variations may use the same rows as patterns do, so these patterns won’t be accessible without disabling variations. So, you cannot cue another pattern to be played until you deselect variations to corresponding rows. Also you need to select the variations all over again. What do you want to achieve?
