Populate sample pool with fill-compatible folders

It could be nice to have the sample pool of a new project already containing the default folders with fill function compatible names (Bass, HiHats, Synths, etc.)

What is the problem?

When you start harvesting samples to load in a project with the Load Files or Folders function, you need to load samples into folders within the sample pool. By defaut, the sample pool is empty, so you have to create and name folders before importing the sample which might sometimes make you loose track of your initial vibe and also introduce typos, making the fill function ignore this new folder. So you then have to rename the folder to make it compatible. In the end, it can become not super convenient and break the flow.

What do you want to achieve?

Having the sample pool of a new project prepopulated with all fill compatible folders so that you can directly load your samples in the correct ā€œspaceā€. We could even imagine something like add to X and having a dropdown menu listing the correct entries.

Are there any workarounds?

Focus on the keyboard and maybe prepare folders before!

You can make a template project I believe?
I have made one. There I created about 15 typical empty sample folders and also pre-configured master FXs to my liking. When you start a new project, load the template project and then just save it under another name.

@djenzar here Iā€™ve described my workflow with the template project. Iā€™m not thinking about creating folders any more. Let me know if this helps

Hi, yeah that looks great, thank for sharing!
