Hi, hoping someone can help. I’m only hearing one note at a time while controlling the Tracker + with the Polyend Play. I have chords spelled out using four lanes on the Play and the Tracker+ is set to a synth with 4 note polyphony. Can someone help me figure out why I only hear one note at a time? When I mute a lane, it plays the next lane so I know the lanes are set up to send data correctly. Thanks.
Hey there @anthonystokes, welcome to Backstage. Happy to see you join us here ![]()
Do you have the same behavior no matter what engine or patch you have loaded on the Tracker+? Like if you load up some patches on the VAP engine, do you have the same behavior.
Thanks Dann. Yes, it’s the same behavior across all of the synths in the Tracker+.
Can you confirm also that all your lanes on the Play are using the same Channel, and that the Tracker is set to receive that Channel on the Synth you have loaded?
Is this the experience like when you Play the “Play” live or when you are playing back from the Tracker or both?
The four lanes that are dedicated to playing the chords are all Jack Channel 2 on the Play. The Tracker is set to CH2 for ‘Notes in channel’. In this current configuration, pressing play on the Play triggers only one note at a time. Pressing play on the Tracker does nothing, I guess because it’s subordinate to the Play?
Is there a ticketing process I should go through or anything else to try?
Man I’m so sorry, I was replying to your last message yesterday, but got distracted and never sent it out.
I’m going to send you a DM with an address where you can send your Play and Tracker projects if that’s ok with you. If I can’t help you on that end, then it would be best to start a Bug report at the link below.
