Polyend Synth PHZ farting out

Bug Description

The PHZ synth really needs looked at bad. There’s something going on with the volume of it. It seems if you have it higher than -20db on main mixer volume, it starts distorting / crackling into low bit rate distortion and cutting in and out especially with the mix control high in the synth engine oscillator section too and the volume high in the 3rd page of the oscillator section.

I have seen a few others here mentioning the same type of thing going on and I bet it’s due to PHZ engine!

No other synth engine does this except this one. If you keep the volumes really super quite it tames it, but it shouldn’t be that way.

It also doesn’t matter if it’s 1 voice or more, still does it.

The models in the synth engine section under oscillator seems to have a role in this as well. The Hermite FM being the worst one.

Steps to Reproduce

Seems to happen on anything that has PHZ in it.

1. just put it on any scene with PHZ in it and put the mixer volume past -20db for that synth
2. go to synth engine for it and turn up the mix parameter under oscillator and the volume on 3rd page for oscillator

Lol been in the music biz for 4 decades never known a SYNTH to actually fart, pass wind.

Polyend have a serious problem. Is the next firmware update some nappies, or potty training workshops?

Synth - audio drops out in what sounds like bit rate distortion

Bug Description On most sounds, I’ll be holding a sound out and there’s a slow fade to distortion that is very similar to dialling in bit rate reduction (down to 2 or 4 bit) then fades back in. i think i figured out the issue. The shape 1 parameter. When it’s 0 to 20 or somewhere in that range, it starts acting up. However there’s something with the mix parameter too, if it’s too high in that engine it still causes issues. Negative values on the mix parameter works better.

Sometimes it’s hit or miss, so the above may not help after-all.

Still think this needs to be looked at badly!

It wasn’t offensive, perhaps a little bit school playground, I mean I didn’t use big adult naughty swear words but I can assure you it was just a joke.

Sorry for causing so much despair, anxiety and sleepless nights to the offended Backstage Member.
