Polyend Synth doesn't have PERC drum machine/synth?

I looked at the Synth manual and I do not see PERC mentioned anywhere. Will it ever come to Synth?

This is a synth and not a drum machine, yes?

PERC is a single voice synth though. Here it is from the Tracker+ manual:

Tracker Plus also came with a sticker saying “PHZ”

Yes, but that’s not what this topic is about :stuck_out_tongue: , I meant PERC is listed under the synth category and loaded into a synth slot and it uses a single voice. Therefore, I am confused why PERC was not included in Synth.

it just isn’t

might be cause Synth™️ isn’t so focused on sequencing. it only has a basic 101 style sequencer

Yeah, but you could play the drums live on the pads. Or abuse the sequencer/arp to do crazy experimental drums. Or externally sequence.

But at this stage you can’t allocate more than one Patch on a Synth slot so Seq/Arp on a single One would just sound Pitching the sound and not have a set of different sounds like Kick + Snare + Hihat ect… ( ? )

The PERC uses the note range for the instruments. So theoretically the Arp and Seq would play based on what note you played.

The complexity I imagine is how to edit the engine. That would be many pages for each percussive sound. I think it would be more pages than the average synth. I would like to see it happen though! Hopefully in a future firmware update.
