Polyend + play with ableton push 3 standalone

Has anyone got the play + working with Ableton 3 standalone with midi over usb ?

Both devices on latest firmware . Previously the play + wouldn’t even power up when the midi cable was connected to my powered midi hub that then goes into the push3 with my midi over usb devices. Powering up now and I’ve tried various setting in the midi menu and the push just won’t see the play.

Worked over midi din on a previous firmware but with a bit of latency . Not tried again with the DIN since the latest polyend firmware update

Sadly i can’t help you as i don’t have a Push.

But USB has some quirks to keep in mind with USB Client/Host functionality, so this might be the issue in this case?

If you can i would use DIN/TRS instead to circumvent this.

Keep in mind that the Push 3 has TRS-A MIDI and Polyend devices use TRS-B. So you need to use the adapter that came with the Play+ to make sure it works.
