PLS bring the new GRAIN engine to the Tracker+/Mini

As the title suggests…It would be huge if this engine would find its way to the Tracker+/Mini. So please tell me that these devices could handle this engine.

I’m sure it’s a question that will come up in the Q&A (what synths have the potential to show up in which devices). For now, we can rely on the most recent official word which is that GRAIN would not be feasible to port to existing devices.

Grain - that i ls a first reason to buy Synth. Really Amazing engine. I think only Torso can do it like this one, but not sure. Don’t have any experience with Torso.

My Tasty Chips GR-1 does it as well. And in my opinion even better, but it’s also a dedicated granular synth, so I’d be surprised if it was inferior  I bet there are even more out there.

A rock solid play + with sample slicing, no lag time between copy/paste arranger, direct editing of synths from knobs, implement GUI similar to how its on Synth and youll have an amazing product/instrument

so you can add you own samples and play with smart keyboard with 3 synth together, also configure your own arpeggios add reverb, delay?

Sorry for the ignorant question.

What is the difference between granular (as we already have as playback for Tracker) and Grain?

GRAIN is the bigger brother to what the Granular Playback is on the Tracker.

The technique is the same - Granular synthesis

The difference is that the GRAIN Engine in the Synth is more powerful and can handle way more grains and has more parameters that can change the overall quality of the sound created.
