You mean Play
?
I believe he means no more upgrade option for play users to go to play+ for little extra money etc.
Oh ok I get it, thanks!
Would this also mean EOL for the Play OG when it comes to software upgrades…? So will the focus shift to Play+ features when it comes to allocating development resources…?
BTW: website already says ‘sold out’…
I wouldn’t think so, especially since they just released a beta, and now that beta needs worked on because it’s making play unusable for some without deleting workspace folder etc. So I will assume the fix will come in a near future one.
As for ideas and wishes, maybe it’s out of room, but bug fixes probably not. Just my 2 cents.
The problem with the current two Betas is that they’re not build upon the latest stable release. So both features still have to be finalized (separately), integrated, tested as a whole and released as ‘final’.
Then my question to @Mitch remains the same: will ending the upgrade path (which already seem to be out of stock, just 1-2 days after the announcement…) also end the future development of the software for Play OG?
So I’m not talking about bug fixes, but expanding features in line with Play+ development.
Sure, no plans to stop development of OG Play software. I’ll look into the stock, might have sold faster than expected.
Anything on the availability of the hardware upgrade for Play OG to Play+…?
Yes, sorry if you missed it but upgrades have sold out.
Keep it up
