Pattern colors in Song Mode

What is the problem?

When the user is in song mode, each pattern is white. This can make it difficult to remember where certain patterns are for various tracks and organize them the across song.

What should this feature achieve?

The ability to assign a color to patterns in song mode to simplify organization and improve workflow.

Are there any workarounds?

There are none

This would be similar to clip colors in ableton.

Song Mode : Colour code song blocks using Note, Instrument, Fx1, Fx2 keys

Improved readability/ accessibility of the song mode would be top! If colours are too much, perhaps something could be done like the ‘greyscale’ created when alternate pixels are omitted or shaded differently, or a shape (O, X etc) in the cell. Or the previously mentioned outlines. To be honest, I got this device to make music, not play games, so I’d be more than happy to sacrifice the ability to play Manic Miner or whatever for a more useable box
