Option to change note display in the Tracker from sharps (#) to flats (b)

Allow the user to change the note display in the tracker view from using sharps (#) to use flats (b) instead. To be able to have both options (like G → G# → Ab → A …) when changing the notes with the wheel would be even better!

What is the problem?

The problem is that I mostly compose in “flat keys” like Cm, Fm, Bb since I’m more used to those keys through the other instruments I play. And if I play a bass line in Cm it’s not very natural to have to program notes called D#, G#, A# on the tracker.

What do you want to achieve?

I want to achieve that the harmonic content is easier to enter and easier to understand in certain situations.

Are there any workarounds?

Thinking really hard which quickly kills inspiration

This one I suppose.

Any references to other products?

Nope

This is something that would help me immensely. I think the setting should, at minimum, attached to the project, not a system-wide config.

I would really like this as well. Its very frustrating/annoying trying to compose on the tracker itself when it only shows sharps. There should be an option to switch between sharps/flats on a per project basis.

Please add this feature. Really frustrating trying to write progressions and not being able to use flats.
