No Sound after sample editor

Bug Description

Sometimes, when I edit a sample in sample Editor and switch back to pattern, there is no Sound anymore. Restart and everything is fine again.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Load a sample and go to sample editor.
  2. edit the sample.
  3. go back to pattern
  4. press play
  5. no sound, also all other samples that played before.
  6. Switch off and on, the sound is back again.

Same problem here, but not with the editor. Instead, each time after using the recorder.

Might be as well the sample recorder :thinking:
Usually I record samples and edit them afterwards. So probably the Problem comes from recording.

But I think I had this Problem also with internal samples, without recording them before.

@christian.zschaebitz could you clarify this step. Are you saying that all other samples also have no sound?

Yes that‘s right.
Lets say you‘ve created a pattern with different instruments. Everything works as expected. Then you go to sample Editor and change some settings for a sample. When you go back to pattern page the tracker doesn’t make any sound anymore.

Unfortunately I can‘t tell you the exact steps to reproduce this behaviour. I use the tracker a lot and this only happened 2 or 3 times now. I can’t exactly remember what I did in the sample editor.
