lol well okay then, Polyend. I guess I’ll have to pester support about whether opening the device up and fixing the key will void my warranty ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
~~While asking them for a replacement line out breakout adapter because that’s also dead/sketchy~~ (maybe angle was bad…)

Cables don’t like angles neither do the terminals they connect too, try and avoid hard angles with cables if possible, they’ll last longer.
Or find the 90 degree angled equivalent of the same type of cable is always an option. They’re handy when space is limited.
You should be able to easily sort the key with a thin piece of plastic (guitar pick?)
If it happens again I’d maybe try a small amount of silicone lubricant on a cotton bud and wipe it on the side of the key that’s sticking. I think sometimes there is too much friction between the edge of the key cap and the metal of the holes. Would also probably benefit from just repeatedly and firmly tapping the key.
the right arrow key is reversed. There’s nothing wrong with the keys lol. It was just assembled wrong and nobody caught it
glad you mentioned the guitar pick, I used one to pop the key off and set it right.
Haha, sorry. I just woke up - need coffee to fix my eyes obviously!
That is annoying then! You can get the caps off - they just pull off. Again, something like a guitar pick (something plastic and not metal!) under an edge and prise it off, or if you have any length to your fingernails you should be able to grab two edges and pull. Definitely no need to open the case.
Just took mine off so you can see the mechanism and how it attaches to the key switch.
Excellent quality control by Polyend!!
thank you. I’ve already fixed it, but yeah, I don’t know why my brain goes to the worst possible outcome/requirements all the time lol. no need to disassemble the thing and it should have been pretty apparent since they say they use mechanical switches. never seen ones like that, but they do definitely feel like browns to me
