I just bought a new traker mini today, It came with firmware version 1.1. I went to update to the new firmware and as I was dopping it onto my SD card my reader faulted and deleted all of the factory content. I downloaded the factory content 2.0 and inserted it into the mini, I then go to update the firmware and this is what it looks like
I’ve tried formating the SD card and no luck, I’ve even tried a brand new SD card and it is still the same problem. Can someone please help me?
Thanks for your reply. I’ve formatted it to Fat32 each time I have tried to update the firmware with no luck.
Everthing else works on the SD card I can use instruments and samples, its just the firmware folder. Even if I have nothing in the firmware folder it still shows what I posted in the image above.
It’s a weird behaviour so the best thing to do is contact with official support.
I’m sorry you’re having this issue. I’ve never seen this before. I recommend an emergency firmware flash by holding down the button to the left of the line in the port while the device is powered on.
Also, I would recommend contacting support for this. Could you show them what the inside of the firmware folder looks like on your computer?
Thanks for your reply Mitch. I have tried multiple emergency firmware flashes and no change. I will contact support and see if they can help me out.
I just wanted to chime in because I had the same issue. The only thing that worked for me was finding the original memory card that unit shipped with, and added the updated 2.0 OS first, and then updated again with the OS 2.3. I MAY see about wiping and reformatting the Samsung EVO SD card I had initially tried, but I’m definitely going to keep the original one close and easy to find if so.
