This proposes a new option to control the gate length of all notes in a track as a perform mode effect. It can provide some interesting results with internal/external MIDI instruments, and this would be a nice option in perform mode.

Are there any workarounds?
You can adjust the gate length in pattern mode, but this requires editing the pattern in real time. A performance effect would be more ideal.
