It would be nice to have An option to recording only the base note for sent out arpeggios / sequences, instead of all the MIDI notes information.
What is the problem?
Currently when playing pads on the Synth while having an ARP or Seq enabled, it sends out the entire Note structure. When recording this with a DAW, it can lead to unexpected behaviour when sending the data back to Synth.
What should this feature achieve?
Give the possibility to only record the played base note.
Are there any workarounds?
Deactivate arpeggio and sequences after having recorded the outgoing MIDI. So you can play it back to Synth.

Hey @holodeckmusicproject welcome aboard
I’ve taken the liberty to update your wish with a little bit more detail and fixed the formatting.
Hope that’s ok

Okay I will calling it “Pad-Only Recording” mode. What I mean is: when playing the pads on the device and recording the MIDI externally, I would love to have an option where only the actual pad triggers are recorded and sent back for playback – not the resulting MIDI notes, sequences or chords they generate.
This way, the external sequencer just re-triggers the pads exactly as they were played, not the generated chord notes. For me, this would eliminate the media beak (recording chords, deactivating sequencer, changing clock source and others settings) – a more streamlined, media-consistent workflow: play, record, play back and tweaking – all intuitively.
Would love to see this considered in a future update!
