Multimode filter on sidechain input to limiter

What is the problem?

the limiter has no way to filter its sidechain input response for example highpass and avoid excessive triggering by the bass content, or lowpass avoiding hats or snares or any mid content bringing the mix down.

What should this feature achieve?

a multimode filter on the sidechain input only, not on audio through of course! this will allow a fuller or more targeted limiter response, potentially opening it up to bigger better bass response or to be used as an effect

Are there any workarounds?

no

Any references to other products?

Reacomp, the stock compressor in Reaper, has a lowpass and a highpass on the sidechain input. i use it all the time for sidechaining duties!
