More than one Song in Song Mode

The song mode has only one song (= arrangement) to work on.

What is the problem?

You cannot work on different arrangements of patterns in one project.

What do you want to achieve?

The possibilty to try out different arrangement ideas in the same project.
(or completely different songs with the same material)

Are there any workarounds?

Copy your song (‘save as’) and create a new song there.

Don’t think so. I checked…

Any references to other products?

Yamaha QY 700. You can work on 20 different songs without changing the
project and jumo around if you like.

Assuming you could jump from one arrangement to another without having to experience any loading (as the samples are already in memory), this would have some great performance applications (along with the composition applications). Nice!
