It sounds like the filters only close down to a certain range, still leaving some harmonics. I’m assuming this was done on purpose by Polyend so as not to loose volume, but I have to say I’m not a fan. I’d like my filters to close further and I don’t mind the volume drop. Does anyone else have an opinion on this?
I don’t look at this forum often, but I wanted to respond. I feel the same. I’d like to be able to really close the filters, taking the low pass audio to a minimal, even nonexistent level, but I find that the Synth doesn’t seem to allow for this type of use. So different from most synths out there. No opportunity for that low, pumping, humping dark terrain that synths like the old Moogs are so famous for. So much potential for minimal, subtle tones. Not sure why the filters are laid out in a way which truly limits detailed use at the cut off point. Perhaps if enough of us speak out, a future firmware update may address this…
