The list of processes in the destructive sample editor is not as complete as Tracker’s competitors. I find myself missing many of the options I am used to.
Tracker lacks many destructive editing options from the MPC and other samplers.
- Ability to insert silence at the start a sample (because there is no track offset)
- Copy/Pasting parts of a sample (default editing functions you’d be used to from a sample editor)
- frequency shift a drum sound in order to tune the fundamental without affecting the highs as much.
Not without stopping the session to edit the samples on my computer.
