Midi with Polyend Step

Can someone help me with midi on polyend step?

I’m using a morningstar mc3

I can get it to change songs forward and back, and I figured out how to start and stop.

Any idea on how to control the “effects” footswitch on STEP with Midi and how to do go through patterns forward and backwards with Midi?

  1. Got to be a way to use a MIDI footswitch to go through CC#81 to CC#96 for the patterns to move forward, and then another MIDI footswitch to go backwards through them but how?

  2. Still no idea on how to start / stop effects footswitch with MIDI, manual shows nothing on this?

i think what they should do is a change on how patterns can be selected.
ideally bound to one CC number that allows to send a value between 1 and 16

instead of 16 CC numbers

i’m a bit confused about why they chose 16 CC numbers instead of that

unless there is a reason to do this in the pedal world

Ok so I got a footswitch on MC3 set for PATTERN > for CC#81 to CC#96 with values 1 to 16. Working great. Thanks to @Sandroid

However, no idea how I can program another footswitch just to jump back one pattern, that would be nice.

Also still no idea how to midi control the “Effect” footswitch on STEP. Nothing in manual shows how to trigger it. If there is no way, please polyend make it possible ASAP!

I wish someone from polyend would chime in here. Why is there no midi command for the effects footswitch on STEP? If there is, what is it and why is it not listed in manual? If there isn’t, why would you leave that out? I need to control that via midi please!
