What is the problem?

Cannot handle pattern change from Step to another device.
PC and CC incoming are allowed, why not also for outputs ?

What should this feature achieve?

To have a coherent workflow which follow every step and decide if we want to change something or not

After much hair pulling, I discovered the MIDI output requires a MIDI Type B cable; where the input works with both Type A (normal) & Type B

I’m curious what hardware you were using to feed the Step’s MIDI Input when you discovered this and what kind of accessories/cables you were using to send your MIDI information into the Step. Especially curious to know how you tested this between MIDI A/B devices.
