What is the problem?

It’s cumbersome to change the clock from internal to external one playing back recorded notes from external sequencers. It’s disrupting the creative workflow

What should this feature achieve?

Automatically sets from internal to external when a mid clock is receiving

Are there any workarounds?

manually settings everything

I agree. This is something I got used to form other gear and occasionally find myself wondering why one or two engines aren’t playing anything…
