MIDI Chord Step Effect - For Internal Synths?

Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to deal with always manually having to enter single notes on different tracks (and then having to render them) to get nice chords out of these great new on-board synths we got?

I remembered the MIDI CHORD step effect for external gear. I tried it with the internal synths and it doesn’t work. But that would be especially nice on the mini since it has no realtime note entry. It would make using the synths on that so much easier and fun. Even on the big boy trackers. It is frustrating to get chords out of them at the moment.

It would also make it more user friendly for people who aren’t great at theory and might not know how to even program chords to render.

So what I want to ask is: Is this already maybe possible? I might have just done it wrong?

If not, would it be a feasible wish to propose?

What do you mean it doesn’t work?
I just tried it the other day because someone else had the same questions. MIDI Chord Step FX and the internal synths should work just fine (if you allocated enough voices to your synth that is).

I just get unusable distorted playback that doesn’t remotely sound like the selected synth patch I chose? Like I said, I might be doing something wrong…will try again.

My bad, it works fine! :man_facepalming:t2: I have no idea what I did or didn’t do when I first tried it :rofl: Stoked. This helps a lot, especially on the Mini!
