Mess unexpected crash

Bug Description

Mess crashed during a studio jam. None of the UI was responsive and there was a constant loud tone on the outputs, no audio processing from the input signal.

Are there any sort of crashlogs I can share that may be helpful?

Steps to Reproduce

Sorry, I have no clear steps to reproduce. Here is my setup when the issues occurred:

  • Mess receiving MIDI clock via DIN
  • Sequencer running
  • Preset 55 loaded (EndlessField)
  • Loaded Formant effect in Slot 4
  • Swapped Slot 1 with Slot 4

All of this was running fine for a few hours. At one point, I tried to adjust one of the parameters of the Particle Sampler and it instantly crashed.

Also worth mentioning, when I filled out this bug report the form required 4 digits for the build version, but my build version only has 3 digits (342).
