Meaningful auto-naming scheme for rendered selection

What is the problem?

Quickly rendering and loading selections with “Render Selection” is fun. Naming them is not

What should this feature achieve?

Reward good track naming by quickening the render-and-load workflow, using context clues to suggest a more meaningful name for the selection than “Selection N”.

Context could include:

  • selected track names (prefered?)
  • selection length (could make sense)
  • used instrument names (probably meh)

we can still add the index to easily avoid dublicate names.
extra-fancy: a small selection of auto-naming schemes in the settings (incl. current default).

while on it: being able to copy/paste inside the naming dialogs would be greatly appreciated

Are there any workarounds?

continuing to tempt carpal tunnel syndrome by typing it in manually

I dig this idea! Perhaps an autofill function that gives the user a few different options might help fine tune things. It’d also be nice if the space and cap lock functions could be mapped out to some buttons.
