I’ve read the manual a few times but am I missing something? As we have to edit the samples before transfering to the DWA folder etc, fine… but is there a time or sample size limit to importing samples to the the DWA folder.. et al?

I ask because some samples of drum loops (over 2mb or 8 seconds) dont register in the file, but some vocal loops beyond this do..

I understand the format, mono etc. I get each folder has a sample limit of 250 odd samples, but if someone could shine a light on the individual sample length in each folder that would really help.

Did you try and copy all these files over to the GRAINS folder to see if that happens there as well?

@Mitch can we get an answer to that. The manual does’t say anything about that

Anything under 5mb should be fine for sample size. Maybe with the autotuning/naming convention DWA feature something in the file is causing an issue. Also file name size may be too large. Can you give me a name of a sample that isn’t showing up?

Here’s a a bit of info what to look for in filenames, emoji and more than 79 characters:
