What is the problem?
Tracker+ lacks some essential features for proper mixing and mastering, primarily visual feedback.
This post compiles several of these features. I decided to gather all related functions into a single post instead of creating a new feature for each one.
What should this feature achieve?
- Display the decibel level of the output (dry and wet) in the Master view. This can be displayed on all Master pages, in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Displays the decibel level of each track in the Mixer view. This can be placed below each track name.
- Display the limiter’s gain reduction in decibels.
- Display the frequency spectrum in the Master EQ.
- Adds a stereo widening effect to the Sample Editor.
