Loading new samples onto polyend synth

Hi, I am trying to download new samples onto the synth. I think that I have the right file format, no problem with name lengths or number of samples in a folder etc, in fact all the issues that people have previously mentioned. Polyend make it sound like a simple drag and drop exercise: place suitable wav samples in folder for WAV/DWA/Grain engine. And yet I can get any of my new samples to appear in in the list of presets for said engines. Updating the firmware, similarly drag and drop, worked no problem, so I don’t think I am doing anything particularly stupid, so can anyone give any suggestions about what might be the issue? Thanks for any help.

Only because I don’t see this method listed - I sometimes have to turn the device off, then on again. Yeah, it’s really annoying to do. Not every time, just some times. Go figure.

I had a similar problem; my files had the .wav extension written in uppercase, and it didn’t work. The extension needs to be lowercase. Not .WAV, but .wav.

I haven’t done it recently but didn’t have any issues when I tried a few months ago.
Some info on the file I used: Sample rate 44.1 kHz, bits per sample 16. Lower case extension as mentioned above .wav Name was lower case with some underscores, nothing special as @afcpafcp mentioned.

As far as I know the files can’t be in a subfolder, they need to be in samples/DWA samples/GRAIN or samples/WAVS directly and no deeper.

Something like samples/DWA/my_awesome_folder/1.wav probably wont work, I have not tested it for samples, but I know in a bunch of other places it doesn’t work.

Thanks for everyone’s suggestions. I will try all of them,
