LFO’s to modulate audio and MIDI parameters

What is the problem?

The Play does not have any LFO’s at the moment.

What do you want to achieve?

Ability to set LFO shape, depth, speed on all audio and MIDI parameters. So you could have standard destinations such as pitch, filter, resonance, and get crazier with lfo’s affecting repeats, chance, randomsation, external synths, etc.

Are there any workarounds?

You can automate and live record the parameters manually, but this doesn’t give you great control over them.

actually, player also could make use of internal LFOs to control other devices via midi, so it would be another great selling point for Play.

Very good point! I have edited the wish accordingly. I guess the complexity of this wish consists in creating the LFO(s) and related UI. Once you have this, setting audio or midi parameters as destination shouldn’t be much different, I guess? Let’s see what the Polyend team says.
