Bit late to the party getting a Play, but never needed a groovebox until now as I primarily use FL, Bitwig and Project One. Got sick of being attached to a PC and needed to unplug and be a bit more portable.
Anyway…I have a huge collection of one-shots from battery, maschine, spark, sample packs from wave alchemy etc…and wanted to get a lot of my own drum sounds onto that SD card. Tried it, but after re-inserting the sd card, the files I copy / pasted, aren’t seen.
As far as I’m aware, I followed the correct format by making separate folders for kick, hats, snare, percussion ( which contain only wav files ) and then put them in a folder with my name, and copy pasted that folder into the folder with all the other “Artists” folders.
Navigating via the Play screen, I don’t see artist folders, or my own folder among them.
Could someone please advise me about what I’m doing wrong, and how to fix it so I can see and access the files I put on the SD card ?

In case you still need help. You should be able to place your samples (and sample folders) in the /Samples folder in the root of the sd card.
Unless you have funky characters in your file- or foldernames, they should show up. If not - could you send a screenshot of what your filestructure looks like?
The samples show up, but it’s just awkward.
I started getting a memory issue
Do I really have to restrict myself to 256 samples, spread across 5 or so small folders that have to be precisely curated ?
What I had hoped was that, with a 16gb sd card, I could load a big folder full of kicks, another big folder full of snares / claps, another big folder full of hats etc……..which would make an inexhaustible supply as I have thousands of sounds from battery, maschine, guru, spark, wave alchemy, reverb etc……to draw upon to make a rhythm ?
My current understanding is that I can maybe have a folder with 50 kicks, and other similar folders with around 50 sounds in them, and then to cap it all…….they aren’t even stereo ?
I’m really disappointed with it tbh.
I really hoped I could just draw on the huge amount of samples I already have, because the samples that come included, aren’t great for me, and it wouldn’t take long to exhaust them.
Doesn’t matter. This is my first impression of Polyend. Disinterest. Works both ways. I’ll never buy a Polyend product again. I bought your product…..you could at least dignify me with a bit of help !! Too late now.

Tell me……if everything is available from the manual, why bother to have a community at all ? Just tell everyone “RTFM” and delete the forum. I don’t need an answer…I’m unsubbing…….that’s a question for you to consider.
