Is the Polyend Tracker MIDI compatible?

The Polyend Tracker can send and receive MIDI messages over its dedicated mini-TRS Type B MIDI ports and over the bidirectional USB Type-C port.

  • MIDI output sends clock/transport/notes/CC/PC,

  • MIDI input receives clock/transport/notes (with vel and micro-moves)/CC with supported incoming CC messages:

  • CC41 – CC48 – Performance mode track change.
  • CC51 – CC62 – Performance mode Fx slot values.
  • CC71 – CC82 – Master section mixer volume levels.
  • CC79 – Delay mix.
  • CC80 – Reverb mix.
  • CC81 – Dry mix.
  • CC82 – Line input.

Note: The MIDI PC communication is being sent right before the MIDI notes.

Hello all, Newbie question: I want to control reverb, Delay, Filter and Volume seprately for Four Tracks of the tracker+ with the faderfox c04 (4x4 knobs). I already was able to connect the Mixer via a kenton device to the tracker+. My requirements: The knobs are Controlling the fx Parameters of the notes, while the pattern is playing. Is this idea of mine possible? If Yes, Can somebody please Point me into the direction What to do now? I guess I need a Chart with alle the midi cc comands and a command for track change to implement them in the faderfox. Thanks for your help in advance , greetings from Berlin Kaya

Hello Kaya! The reverb and delay mix can only be controlled via MIDI at the master level, but there isn’t CC mapping per track, as Reverb sends are per insturment not per track.

Hey Mitch, thanks for getting back. How comes this table into play then?

Mixer Mute Midi CC - Tracker - Tracker - Polyend Backstage

Hey @kaya.tasci , these are CC messages for the performance mode on the Tracker.
They give you MIDI CC control over the first 8 tracks on the tracker.

So if all you want/need is to control volume of the first 8 tracks, you can absolutely do that with an external controller.

As you see on that list however, as Mitch mentioned, reverb, delay are on a global level - so that means any changes there will affect all instruments/tracks.

The performance effects, correlates to the slots that you see on the Performance Page and allows you to control those (whichever way you set them up). Again related to the first 8 tracks.

One thing that I’ve always wanted to see with the performance mode CC is messages to arm/disarm tracks.
