In my opinion, the effects are quite nice and can turn a great synth patch into something big. Especially with the added MOD effect and expanded options on reverb and delay. But I’m sure for some people it’s not enough.

I know Polyend likely don’t want to cannibalize sales/features from Play+, but some sort of probability/boolean/euclidian functionality similar to how the new Elektron Digi’s have implemented would be just fantastic. Likewise if they could add some sort of variation on the Digitone’s arpeggiator this would be just about perfect. I don’t need the full on generative genre styles, but having some probability and random generation would be great jumping off points for exploring with this. Regardless, I have placed my order and look forward to getting my hands on this tomorrow.

Agree with this - even just easy access to adsr would make a big difference (would like it for samples as well but…), as it is synths on the play+ are effectively too limited for me.

Heya, I would encourage a wish for this. I don’t think we’ve given it much thought yet but the Play doesn’t have the dedicated processing power for the graphics we reserved for Synth, maybe a stripped down interface with the same controls minus the graphics? I don’t know, could be confusing without the labels? But a wish would be good place to start this conversation. Actually I think there is a wish for something like this already, I’ll post a link to it.
As for new wishes - I think Devs will start reviewing them after the betas are officially launched so please be patient if they sit for a month, sorry!

Thanks for that response Mitch - personally I feel ADSR especially would open up synth sounds to more melodic type genres - I hesitated about pushing this as I know it’s not so much the sort of use it was aimed for. I will consider a wish - the graphics would be nice for sure but I don’t think myself they’re vital.
this certainly explains the update delays.

As I saiD elsewhere I immediately ordered this… Thank you for sharing the videos. I watched all of them. Honestly looking at Synth from a Polyend aficionados perspective (I have got all the machines since the beginning - Tracker OG → To Play Plus…) I think it just miss the Perc engine. As if the team would in any way oblige us to use an external machine for the beat. I honestly think that adding PERC to it would just give us the opportuinity to experience a complete groovebox experience. Just my opionion. So please add Perc to it :). Waiting for the machine to arrive here on my desk
