Input and Output gain for every effect block

What is the problem?

We need an input gain for every effect, as every effect reacts different to level.
Take a distortion: more gain more distortion or the micro looper needs a threshold to react as instrument don’t have the same level on every note or take a delay…If you want a loud but short repeats you need level. Besides the fact that every effect sounds different on different input levels.
It would help very much that every single effect could sound right and level balanced when you switch the pedal on or off and you get quicker results that works.
When you play live with the pedal and you switch it on and off you need around the same level. And the gain staging of 4 serial effects is a pain.

What should this feature achieve?

Take a 3rd menu for every effect block and adding input level and output level. Maybe the mix parameter too.

Are there any workarounds?

In the moment I put a pan effect as my last effect to help not blowing the speakers out when I switch it on.

EVERY multi effect pedal from Line6, NeuralDSP, IK, Axe etc. got input and output gain per effect block.

Yes, good point. Mitch’s comment that there is a global output gain feature now, doesn’t hit the point exactly. With extrem gain push in overdrive fx it would make a big difference to be able to get down with the level at the end of that block. Setting down the level for each step in the sequencer steps is a possible workaround, but it is time consuming and annoying and may result in some extrem level jumps when not setting that cautiously.
