I get a “Unspecified Error” when trying to load my own samples to the Polyend Play, why is it so?

You’ll get this error when the files you try to load on the SD card in the following scenarios:

  • file has a .wav extension, but is in another format,
  • .wav file structure is corrupted,
  • has format other than (float or PCM) and (8 or 16 or 24 or 32 bit) and (number of channels 1 or 2).

Ive had this problem where it was 44.1 and 24 bit but still getting “unspecified error”. Reaper helped me batch convert many samples at once here, it was a huge help:
