“FX1: HOLD [FX1] + [PAD]… Hold & release [FX1] alone will set an empty step to the same effect type as previously selected but with a randomly applied value.”
The FX value is not random but gets set to the same value every time you hold and release the FX button.
Steps to Reproduce
Press [Record] to enter edit mode.
Press and hold FX1 and select an FX type. Release the FX1 button and observe assigned value
Repeat this on subsequent steps.
Notice that the assigned value is the same on every step
Hi @neilbaldwin , thanks a lot for pointing this out! In this particular case, the actual issue is with the manual, not the device itself. The current device behavior without value randomization is intentional and by design. We’re going to update the manuals and will share the info on this here. Thanks again for your support!
